CAREER
On her first movie release:
"It's judgement day. I'm nervous. My films are finally being released!" "What
is all the fuss? I blame men as they make out it's far more interesting than
it is."
On working with Daniel Craig:
"Daniel is one
of my best friends and I thought Casino Royale was brilliant. I'd work with
him any day of the week."
On theatre:
"There's this lovely expression - Dr Theatre. It's great, it's what I love
doing, I wouldn't want to do anything else."
On being messy on the set of Factory Girl:
"I am a bit messy, I admit it. You'll usually find a few cigarettes in
there and dirty socks. I even stole someone's dog for company."
On Interview:
"I play a woman in the public eye who's a s- actress. She's had a boob job.
She's just this plastic blond."
PERSONAL
On her relationship with ex-fiance Jude Law:
"Our life is public enough. But [we] try to keep it as private as possible."
On getting back together with Jude [november 2005]:
"My relationship with Jude is the first priority for me. I'm spending all my
time with Jude - I can't do anything else."
On the split with Jude:
"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. "I'd be lying if I said that it
hasn't been a really rough couple of months, but at the end of the day I've
got a huge support system. My Mum, my sister, all my best mates and Jude have
been really supportive."
On being down-to-earth:
"I went to a Cowboys and Indians party last year and wore a skirt that I'd
designed myself," she told GLAMOUR. "While I was making a toast it fell down,
but thank God I was wearing nice underwear."
On love:
"Having done this film [Casanova], everyone thinks you're an expert on love.
And I'm hopeless. "I'd love one day to get married and have children. But I'm
not quite ready yet."
On her dogs; Porgy and Bess:
"The dogs are being looked after by their dad, Jude, while I'm over here. "In
fact, I would love another dog for Christmas. I want a bulldog named Sid. But
I don't know if I can look after three dogs."
On moving from London:
"I'd really like not to be scrutinised to the degree I am and if that means
leaving England then I will. Because at the moment I've come to a place where
if this carries on I'd rather not act - and that's my passion."
On Wales:
"I love Wales. I think it’s the most beautiful country in the world and the
people were just gracious and lovely considering they have been raped and
pillaged by the English for so long."
On partying:
"I think everyone's entitled to their own decisions. Girls are doing
the same thing all over the world as what these girls are doing, but they're
not being photographed while they're doing it. I think it's healthy for young
girls to go out and have fun in their teenage years and early twenties. I'm
not going to judge anyone."
"I can drink most grown men under the table." 2008
On wine:
"I have a
very, very, very great relationship with wine. We have been together for about
10 years now and we just love each other more and more every day."
On cooking:
“I am a pretty good cook. I love it. Italian, English--I do a mean roast
chicken. I love cooking. It’s kind of a therapy and I can zone out
completely.”
On her roots:
"I’m English, definitely. I don’t feel like I’m American in any way."
On attending an all-girl school:
“I went to an all-girls boarding school for most of my youth. We used to do
stupid, fun girly things like pull tights over our faces and streak through
the lacrosse pitch. And once I snogged the gardener.”
On her body:
"I've lost weight and my boobs have gone, they're just clinging on for dear
life. I used to have boobs, honestly I did. I went to put on a bra this
morning and I don't need one.
Soon
all the burgers will attack my rear and I'll be a whale. But I'll remain an
eggs, bacon, waffles girl. My so-called fabulous shape is due to airbrushing.
I have small boobs and cellulite."
On American men:
“I think American men are more conscious of putting up a good impression.
There's more of an earthiness to Englishmen. But Americans aren't afraid to
come up and say, 'Hi, I'd like to go out with you.' Englishmen are far more
sheepish about it.”
STYLE
On Kate Moss and their similar style:
"It's not that I'm trying to get her look, truly not," says Sienna. "But I
like what she's wearing and we seem to share taste to a certain extent."
On receiving free clothes:
"I can't get rid of anything. That is my problem."
On her style:
"My boho look wasn't even a very original look. I think I had just got back
from travelling or something. It was a strange social experiment to be
responsible for being a style icon. It made me self-conscious."
On Twenty8Twelve:
"It's
just two sisters playing dress up with someone else's money... (It'll be)
DICkensian London mixed with some Patti Smith."
