NEWS: Sienna Miller finishes with Balthazar Getty because of “too much baggage”

Sienna Miller has reportedly finished with boyfriend of nearly a year, Balthazar Getty.

The pair provoked controversy when they began dating last summer as Balthazar was still married at the time and Sienna was dubbed a “homewrecker”. Balthazar later issued a statement explaining he had been separated from his wife Rosetta for a while - but while the new couple’s relationship persisted through the rumours, sources close to Sienna say dating a man with an estranged wife and four young children eventually became too much for the Edge of Love star.

A source told the Mirror: “Sienna loved being with Balthazar but there was too much baggage and she couldn’t commit to anything more than a few months.

“They are still good friends.”

Gearing up for yet another flight across the pond, Sienna Miller was spotted arriving at LAX International Airport yesterday (May 15).

The “Factory Girl” hottie looked a bit annoyed with the paparazzi as she exited her car and made her way inside the terminal to catch a British Airways flight to London.

PROJECTS: Sienna Miller to play a blind Oxford don

Actress Sienna Miller is to be offered the role of a blind Oxford University don in an upcoming independent film.

Shamim Sarif, the director of the film and a novelist, said it would be "fantastic" if Miller could play the role in "The Dreaming Spires". Set in post-war Oxford, the film tells the story of a young student who falls in love with a blind, married English professor in her thirties.

The script is an adaptation of one of Sarif's short stories. It is the first film by Sarif not to feature a lesbian love story. Filming is due to start later in the year.

NEWS: Sienna Miller is the new face of BOSS Orange

When she single-handedly kick-started the boho chic trend, we all wanted to dress like Sienna Miller, and it looks like we’ll all be wanting to smell like her too, as BOSS Fragrances have just signed her up as the face of their latest scent!

Sienna will be promoting BOSS Orange, which launches in the UK on July 1st 2009 through a series of print and TV adverts. She said of her new role: “The fragrance is beautiful musky, sweet and sexy. The general mood of the advertising is relaxed and light-hearted. There’s a casual yet energetic atmosphere with lots of running around and laughing, my idea of heaven.”

We love Sienna’s feisty spirit and it seems she’s the perfect match for this fresh new fragrance. Thomas Burkhardt, Global Marketing Director for HUGO BOSS Fragrances, agrees: “She is a liberated soul, light-hearted, spontaneous and passionate, and she quite simply wears her heart on her sleeve, which captures the spirit of this new fragrance perfectly.”
